KZN College of Nursing Invites Applications for Nurse Training Intake 2025

KwaZulu-Natal College of Nursing (KZN College of Nursing) is inviting unemployed youth and students from the KwaZulu-Natal province to apply for the Intake 2025. The bursary is aimed at providing financial assistance to deserving students who wish to pursue a nursing career.

The program duration is three years, and applications are invited for nurse training. The bursary is a joint initiative between the KZN College of Nursing and the Department of Health.

Requirements

To be eligible for the bursary, applicants must meet the minimum requirements:

Additionally, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Applicants must be from the KwaZulu-Natal province.
  • Applicants currently registered for studies elsewhere will not be considered for admission.
  • Applicants who are currently receiving any other source of funding for study purposes will not be considered.

How To Apply

To apply for the bursary, applicants must:

  • Submit their application online.
  • Upload the required documents, including:
    • Copy of Matric certificate
    • Copy of Identity document
    • Proof of residence or affidavit
    • Signed affidavit from the Commissioner of Oath, clearly indicating that you have not previously benefited from the Department of Health bursary system at the KZN College of Nursing

Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified and original documents following communication from the Nursing Campus. All certificates and addresses will be verified for authenticity.
