Background Knowledge | Knowledge of HAST (HIV, AIDS, STIs, and TB) and NCD (Non-Communicable Diseases). |
Location | Ability to work in Kraaifontein, Parow, and Strandfontein. |
Key Responsibilities
- Specialized Care: Provide specialized care, including catheter management and adherence to universal blood precautions.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on nutrition planning and meal preparation to promote better health.
- Referral and Coordination: Identify patients needing further medical attention and refer them to appropriate health facilities and service providers.
- Recordkeeping: Establish and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records to track care and progress.
- Medication Management: Administer and supervise medication, ensuring timely collection of prescribed medication and adherence to treatment protocols.
- Reporting: Report patient deterioration, treatment defaults, and any adverse medication reactions to supervisors promptly.
